BLOX

ASH invested $40 million in BLOX, a company transforming the $800bn US commercial construction industry.

ASH BLOX invested $40 million in BLOX in 2020. BLOX is transforming the construction industry with its proven ability to deliver commercial buildings in less than half the time and with significantly less waste than traditional competitors. BLOX’s proprietary technology enables it to build more efficiently by standardizing programs and aggregating demand, which allows them to productize and manufacture buildings inside their 1mm square foot facility in Bessemer, Alabama. These building blocks are then shipped to the job site where final assembly takes place.
“Partnering with ASH accelerates our ability to achieve BLOX’s mission of 2x2x2 – delivering buildings at twice the speed, twice the quality, and with twice the value of traditional approaches. Most importantly, we like the ASH team’s philosophy of building great organizations by delighting customers and leveraging technology.”

– CHRIS GIATTINA, BLOX Founder and CEO

ASH completed a $42m Series B investment in BLOX in 2021.
